Meet the Falcons! - Here are the Players On Your Team

Although each player is a unique person, there are some general categories that a lot of problems fall into so we can identify the roles that are being played. We will look at some of the more common characters as they appear on your team and try to see what makes them tick.

You and your assistant coaches, Allison Long and Joe Ames, have had a coaches’ meeting, your pre-season meeting with your players, another meeting with their parents, and you have had a few practices and training sessions.

So far, your team, the Falcons, shapes up this way -- those marked with the * are new members of the team.

Every one of your players is a unique person and an individual character (and I do mean 'character') The more we coach, the more we find out how different children can be -- they simply do not all come out of the same mold -- they are all different and we have to treat them that way. Among these differences is their goals - the reason they are members of a team.

Well, it's time to get out on the field and meet the Falcons in person -- they are coming in from their different schools and will be getting here as soon as they can. Oh, Oh, it seems that some of the players got here a little early -- they do look pretty eager, don't they?

While you're waiting for the rest of the crew you can take another look at your players and see what is known about each of them. Coaches Long and Ames are pretty good at giving us good information. Ready or not -- here they are!!!
